Phyllis Faul, RN

Phyllis Faul’s history with Acadia St. Landry Hospital began 30 years ago as a volunteer and then as a physical therapy aide to our current physical therapist. She now works as our RN Chief Nursing Officer. Graduating from Louisiana State University Eunice (LSUE), Phyllis’ nursing profession began in obstetrics, along with nursing home and home health administration.

Post-Katrina, Phyllis volunteered in her community, providing nursing services to those in need. She also administered vaccinations to employees of local businesses during FLU season. She was an educator at TH Harris Vocational School and partnered with her alumni, LSUE, to instruct medical professional students in infection control and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) training.

Phyllis has held administrative positions in employee health and education for two local acute care hospitals. With experience in corporate healthcare positions in Regulatory, Quality, and Compliance, she has a clear understanding of state and federal guidelines and policies. Phyllis is motivated to organize and restructure nursing operations for quality care. Her desire is to develop positive relationships between the community and staff of ASLH, our hometown heroes!

Phyllis graduated from Church Point High School and is married to Keith Faul. Phyllis and Keith have four daughters, Elizabeth Cormier, Amanda Leon, Jesse Estes and Shelbi Rae Hazelwood and are blessed with 7 grandchildren. She is excited to be part of the new ASLH facility!
