Acadia St. Landry Hospital is proud to announce that Carrie Guidry, MD, family medicine physician at The Point Primary Care, and Melanie Roge, Director of Growth & Strategy, have successfully completed the Leadership EXCEL Class of 2025.
The year long Leadership EXCEL program, serving Acadia and Jeff Davis parishes, brings together emerging and established leaders from across the two-parish region to learn, collaborate, and work on projects that strengthen their communities. The Class of 2025 was celebrated on December 10, marking the culmination of twelve months of commitment and growth.
“Leadership EXCEL is designed to strengthen the next generation of community leaders, and we are incredibly proud to see both Dr. Guidry and Melanie complete this journey,” said Michael J. LeJeune, CEO of Acadia St. Landry Hospital. “Their participation ensures that the needs of rural communities and small-town healthcare remain part of the broader leadership conversation in our region.”
Representing The Point Primary Care, Dr. Guidry dedicated the past year to expanding her understanding of regional challenges and opportunities. Her involvement reinforces the hospital’s mission to grow local leadership and expand access to quality care in rural communities.
As Director of Growth & Strategy, Melanie Roge leads community outreach, service line development, and strategic growth initiatives for Acadia St. Landry Hospital and its clinics.
