She also previously served as Interim Director of Health Information Management at LSU-Medical Center in Lafayette, where she oversaw the hospital’s Health Information Management department and worked closely with medical staff and other hospital departments on regulatory compliance, documentation improvement, quality monitoring, and information management.

Robin earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and holds the professional credentials of Registered Health Information Management Administrator (RHIA), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), and Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP).

In addition to her professional healthcare experience, Robin has maintained strong ties to the Church Point community. She was born and raised in Church Point and continues to live in the community with her family. She is the daughter of Carl and Denise Stelly, who have longstanding ties to and involvement in the local community.

“I am honored for the opportunity to serve on the Acadia St. Landry Hospital Board of Commissioners,” Robin said. “As someone who was born and raised in Church Point and has built my career in healthcare, I look forward to bringing my professional experience, community perspective, and passion for healthcare to the board and helping support the continued success of our local hospital.”

Acadia St. Landry Hospital CEO Michael J. LeJeune welcomed Robin to the board.

“Katie brings an exceptional combination of healthcare leadership experience, knowledge of hospital operations, and a genuine commitment to our community,” LeJeune said. “Her background in health information management, compliance, revenue cycle, and operational performance will be extremely valuable to our board. Just as importantly, Katie is a lifelong member of this community who understands how important Acadia St. Landry Hospital is to the people we serve.
